It enables\nits customers to focus on business needs instead of managing the\nunderlying infrastructure supporting their Kafka instances(s). It is\navailable to public, federal, state, local and tribal governments, as well\nas research institutions, federal contractors, government contractors,\netc.\n\nThe CCG offering is comprised of two components – the Cloud\nControl Plane and Data Plane (Kafka clusters). The Cloud Control\nPlane is hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud and\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) and is used by customers to select and\ndeploy their managed Kafka resources to a Satellite Cluster. The\nSatellite Cluster consists of one or many Kubernetes nodes running\nKafka, with the one or many availability zones (AZs) deployed based\non options selected by the customer. A customer can choose to\ndeploy a Satellite Cluster to AWS GovCloud. The Control Plane is\nused to manage resources in Satellite Clusters using the Control\nPipeline. All customer data is retained in Satellite Clusters and no\ncustomer data from the Satellite Clusters is sent to the Control Plane.","logo":"https://www.fedramp.gov/assets/img/logos/CSP_logos/Confluent%20Logo.png","inMarketplace":true,"agencies":["22-092"],"reuseCount":0,"leverages":[],"leveragedBy":[],"timeline":[{"date":"2025-12-05","to":"Initial Program Review","certType":"20x Pilot"},{"date":"2026-01-27","to":"Final Program Review","certType":"20x Pilot"},{"date":"2026-03-06","to":"FedRAMP Certified","certType":"20x Pilot"}],"cr26":{"type":"Rev5","ocrOverdue":false,"valid":true,"findings":[{"level":"warning","message":"no UEI number; include it if you have one","rule":"CDS-CSO-PUB"},{"level":"warning","message":"no business category listed","rule":"CDS-CSO-PUB"},{"level":"warning","message":"no trust center link; CR26 requires one with access instructions","rule":"CDS-CSO-UTC"},{"level":"warning","message":"no link to secure configuration guidance","rule":"SCG-CSO-RSC"},{"level":"warning","message":"no next Ongoing Certification Report date","rule":"CDS-CSO-PUB"},{"level":"warning","message":"no service list; CR26 requires the services in scope","rule":"CDS-CSO-SVC"},{"level":"warning","message":"no documentation overview (repositories) listed","rule":"CDS-CSO-PUB"}],"assessor":"Fortreum, LLC"},"sponsor":"22-092","trustCenterCheck":null}
