It supports the creation, negotiation, approval, execution, storage, management, and analysis of contractual agreements within a defined authorization boundary.\n\nThe system provides centralized contract authoring, workflow automation, document management, AI-assisted processing, reporting, and analytics. LambdaX serves government agencies, contractors, and enterprise organizations that require controlled access to contract data and structured lifecycle governance. All processing described below occurs within the system's authorization boundary, and connections to external systems and services occur only through controlled, documented interconnections.\n\nLambdaX has achieved FedRAMP Moderate Readiness and is operated in accordance with the applicable FedRAMP Moderate security control baseline. FedRAMP 20x alignment is currently on the product roadmap.\n\nLambdaX supports deployment in secure cloud and customer-managed on-premises environments, with security controls aligned to organizational compliance requirements.\n\nKey Features\n1.\tContract intake automation\nAI extracts contract fields, clauses, CLINs, and delivery terms from procurement documents, reducing manual effort while improving data consistency and traceability.\n\n2.\tSecure cloud & on-premises deployment\nSupports deployment in secure cloud and customer-managed on-premises environments, including architectures designed to meet FedRAMP Moderate requirements.\n\n3.\tFAR / DFARS compliance automation\nAutomatically classifies clauses, validates flowdowns, and maintains auditable records to support FAR and DFARS compliance.\n\n4.\tERP synchronization & revenue integrity\nSynchronizes contract, pricing, billing, and financial data with enterprise ERP systems to reduce manual processing and improve financial accuracy.\n\n\nFunctional Capabilities Within Authorization Boundary\n1.\tContract Authoring and Assembly\nThe system supports drafting and assembly of contracts using structured templates, configurable datasets, and a centralized clause and master-data library. Users create, edit, and version contract documents within the application using a built-in editor.\n\n2.\tNegotiation and Collaboration\nThe system enables controlled internal and external collaboration, including multi-user editing, version tracking, redlining, side-by-side version comparison, and maintenance of audit history for document changes. All collaborators, including external parties, access the system through authenticated, role-scoped sessions within the authorization boundary.\n\n3.\tApproval Workflows\nLambdaX includes configurable, multi-stage workflow routing for contract review, modification, and approval, with task assignment, reassignment/delegation, and threaded comments. Workflow actions are logged and tracked within the system.\n\n4.\tExecution Support\nThe platform supports integration with electronic signature services through controlled interconnections for execution of agreements. Executed contracts are stored within the system repository.\n\n5.\tCentralized Repository and Search\nThe system maintains a centralized contract repository with metadata tagging and search across metadata, clause text, and document content, together with structured formatting.\n\n6.\tObligation and Milestone Tracking\nThe system enables tracking of key contract dates, milestones, deliverables, and obligations.\n\n7.\tAnalytics and Reporting\nLambdaX provides reporting and analytical capabilities on contract data, including configurable dashboard widgets, structured risk indicators, and performance metrics.\n\n8.\tAI-Assisted Processing\nLambdaX provides AI-assisted document field and clause extraction, confidence scoring, clause classification, identification of non-standard contractual language, and configurable risk assessment based on defined business rules. AI and embedding requests are processed through a centralized AI Gateway that provides usage metering, request logging, and auditability. All AI processing occurs within the system's authorization boundary and is governed by the platform's access controls, security policies, and audit logging.\n\n9.\tAI Safety and Data Protection\nThe system provides configurable detection and masking of sensitive or personal data elements (e.g., names, identifiers, and financial values) prior to AI processing or external sharing, and supports configurable controls over automated agent behavior. These safeguards operate on a best-effort basis and supplement — but do not replace — the system's access controls and encryption.\n\n10.\tExternal System Integration\nThe system provides API-based integration for interoperability with external enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, and financial systems). All integrations occur through controlled, documented API endpoints and interconnections within or at the edge of the defined system boundary.\n\n\nNon-Functional Characteristics\n1.\tAccess Control\nThe system enforces Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), including role, group, and team-based assignment, to restrict access to data and functions based on assigned privileges.\n\n2.\tAuthentication\nThe system supports federated authentication via Single Sign-On (OpenID Connect) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) using time-based one-time password (TOTP) authenticator applications. Session management provides per-session control and termination.\n\n3.\tEncryption in Transit\nAll communications are encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher with FIPS-validated cryptographic modules.\n\n4.\tEncryption at Rest\nAll data stored within the system boundary is encrypted at rest using FIPS 140-2/140-3 validated cryptographic modules.\n\n5.\tAudit Logging and Monitoring\nSystem and user activities — including authentication events, field changes, document edits, and workflow actions — are logged to support monitoring, incident response, and forensic review.\n\n6.\tHosting Environment\nLambdaX can be hosted on FedRAMP-ready cloud infrastructure that provides redundancy and secure network segmentation within the defined authorization boundary. It can also be deployed on-premises to support customer-specific security, compliance, and data-sovereignty requirements.\n","logo":"https://www.fedramp.gov/assets/img/logos/CSP_logos/Cognitus%20Logo2.png","inMarketplace":true,"agencies":[],"reuseCount":0,"leverages":[],"leveragedBy":[],"timeline":[{"date":"2025-02-28","to":"FedRAMP Ready","certType":"Rev5"},{"date":"2026-02-28","to":"No Status Found (Delisted)","certType":"Rev5"}],"trustCenterCheck":null}
