Pinecone is a fully managed vector database for AI applications. It stores, indexes, and searches high-dimensional vector embeddings to power retrieval for semantic search, recommendation, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workloads. Customers create indexes in a cloud region of their choosing and interact with the service through documented APIs and client SDKs.
